The Macon County Junior High School football team will be honored Monday night during the County Commission meeting at the Courthouse.

“They had an outstanding season this year,” Macon County Mayor Shelvy Linville said during last Monday’s meeting. “We were asked to honor them and commend them for their good season. They will be here next week to accept the resolution and all the accolades that goes with it.”

The Tigers won the Middle Tennessee Conference championship game Oct. 10 with an 8-6 victory against Livingston.

Monday’s meeting starts at 6 p.m.
