The Macon County Junior High School Tigerettes hosted the Red Boiling Springs Lady Bulldogs on December 2.
The final score of the game was Tigerettes 34 - Lady Bulldogs 53.
The Tigerettes struggled with shooting most of the night and nothing seemed to happen for them. In addition, the team suffered multiple turnovers.
This was the first loss of the season for the team.
Mindy Miller led the team in scoring for the Tigerettes with 11 points. Other Tigerettes putting points up were Holly Compton with 10, Kaitlyn Gregory with 6, Courtney Clark with 5, and Amy Spears with 2.
Leading rebounders for the Tigerettes were Courtney Clark with 5, Casey Russell with 3 and Mindy Miller with 3.

The Tigerettes were scheduled to travel to Hermitage Springs on Thursday, December 5, but the game was cancelled due to snow. That game will be rescheduled.
Next up for the Tigerettes will be a home game against Celina on Monday, December 9 and then Hartsville on Thursday, December 12. Tip-off for Thursday's game will be 6:30 p.m.
December 12 will also be parent night, with the 8th grade players and their parents being recognized prior to tip-off.
On Monday, December 16, the Tigerettes will host Fox. This game will also be Homecoming for MCJHS, with the crowning ceremony scheduled to be held prior to tip-off. Tip-off for the game is set for 6:30 p.m.
