On Monday, the team faced Greenbrier and won with a score of 3 to 0. But on Tuesday, they were defeated by Station Camp in the semi-finals. Jamie Gregory and Katelyn Gregory were named to the all district 8A-AA district team. Hunter Shrum, Katelyn Gregory, Jamie Gregory, and Callie Vinson were named to the all tournament district team. Coach Grant Malo received the District Coach of the Year award.
“This was a great season,” said Coach Malo. “We just came up a little short at the end against Station Camp. The girls played hard and I am looking forward to next season.”
