Corey Jenkins of Lafayette was plowing a field behind 114 Hattie Street on the night of May 22 when he experienced steering problems with his tractor. Jenkins attempted to repair the tractor and became entangled between the rear tire and tractor.
Jenkins was removed from the entanglement by the Lafayette Fire Department and Macon County Rescue Squad. Jenkins was then transported by ambulance to the helipad where he was air lifted to Vanderbilt Medical Center by Air Evac.
