A public hearing to solicit public comments on a proposed annexation of property owned by Richard Freeman

Old Business:

Dispense with the reading of the November 3, 2009 council meeting minutes.

Adopt minutes of the November 3, 2009 council meeting minutes.

Adopt Ordinance 571 (An ordinance amending the “zoning map, Lafayette, TN, by rescinding the zoning map, Lafayette, TN, and adopting the digital “zoning map, Lafayette, TN, 2009”) on third and final reading.

Adopt Ordinance 572 (An ordinance for amendment of the Lafayette zoning ordinance, said amendment adds paving regulations to Chapter 2, Section 11-212. Off-street parking requirements) on third and final reading.

Adopt Ordinance No. 573 (an ordinance creating a WWTP Licensed Equipment Operator job description level VII) on second reading).

Approve bid for roofing the police department building.

New Business:

John Poole, City Auditor, reporting the 2008/2009 city audit.

Adopt Ordinance No. 574 (an ordinance to annex properties and to incorporate same within the corporate boundary of the City of Lafayette property belonging to Richard Freeman) on first reading.

Approve First Baptist Church and Key Park 5-year lease agreement.

Approve Recreation Advisory Board appointment. J.Y. Carter’s term is up Jan. 2010.

Approve December annual employee evaluations and salary increases.

Authorization to fill vacancy in gas department.

Accept letter of retirement from Water Department Superintendent Gene Reid.

Authorization to post an upcoming vacancy in the water department.

Authorization to advertise and and take bids for police department janitorial services.
