L.M. Jones Jr also known as J.R., 48, was born in Lafayette on April 10, 1964, passed away Mon., Sept. 10. He was the son of L.M Jones and Bertha Lee (Likens) Jones.
L.M. is survived by son James(Candis) Jones, and son Ben Jones of Edinburg, In., brother Jerry Jones, sisters Hilda Jones (Phillip Bullock), Emma (Bill) Feese, Carolyn (Arnold) Austin, Susie (Wes) Hartshorne, Rosetta (Steve) Bellamy, and Betty Jones, along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: a son Michael Eugene Jones; sister Frances Loise Gaskins; niece Lorette Kay Morris. J.R. was known for his love of drawing pictures, country music, reading, fishing, and working at Jones Core. He had been employed at Jones Core, Edinburg, IN. Funeral Services were held st the Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, Edinburgh, IN. Burial was held at Rest Haven Cemetery.
