Henry Evans Bradley, age 86, of Indianapolis, Indiana, and formerly of the Rocky Mound Community in Macon County, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2003 in Indianapolis. He retired in 1980 after 30 years at the naval Avionic Center as a purchasing agent, was a 50-year member of Prospect Lodge # 714 F. & A.M., and attended Faith United Methodist Church. He had served as Unit Commissioner with the Pioneer District of the Boy Scouts of America.

He is survived by his wife, Alberta Degroot Bradley; a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas E. and Susan Bradley; a sister, Johnnie Young; 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He is survived locally by 5 nieces: Glenna Massey, of the Rocky Mound Community; Earline Trammel, of Gallatin, TN; Hortense Overton, of the Eulia Community; Maudean Jenkins, Nashville, TN; and Gay Starks, Franklin, KY; and a nephew, Randall Simmons, Westmoreland, TN.

Funeral Services for Henry Evans Bradley were conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 25, 2003 at Flanner-Buchanan Washington Park East Funeral Home.
