The Bulldogs ended Baseball season on May 1st with a 1-12 loss to Trousdale County. They scored a run in the fourth inning on an RBI single by Skylar Holden, but couldn’t overcome the Trousdale bullpen. Fielding errors also contributed to the loss as #17 Mayson Hewitt confirmed. “We made a lot of fielding errors that night,” Hewitt said, “but we played better than we played at the beginning of the season and I think the team will be even better next year.” #10 Nick Deckard pitched two innings. Chance Asberry was the losing pitcher with one and a half innings. The Bulldogs ended the season 7-20. They’ll celebrate with an Awards banquet on Friday, May 8th at the high school.
