Tommy Bush, age 77, of Red Boiling Springs, TN passed Monday evening, November 25, 2013 at the Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN. Funeral Services for Tommy Bush were conducted Friday afternoon, November 29, 2013, at 2 pm from the Anderson & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Red Boiling Springs with E.C. Meadows officiating. Interment followed in the Whitley Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers were all the present and past employees of Reese’s Piggly Wiggly. Active Pallbearers were Jason Gregory, Dominic Buono, Jeff Bilbrey, Greg Bilbrey, Russ Hudson, Michael Davis, Ricky McCauley and Mike Reese.
Tommy was born Monday, July 20, 1936 in Macon County, Tennessee, one of thirteen siblings, born to the late Oscar and Olene Allen Bush. In addition to his parents, Tommy was also preceded in death by his twin daughters, Theresa Darlene Bush and Melissa Aileen Bush, sisters, Sue Carol Bilbrey and Sandra Bush, brothers, Paul David, Fay and Billy Bush, sister-in-law, Mary Elizabeth Bush, brothers-in-law, Ether Bean and Robert Hudson. Tommy was the former assistant manager at Reese’s Piggly Wiggly with 37 years of service and a member of the Red Boiling Springs Church of Christ. He would always have a smile on his face where ever you saw him.
Survivors include: sisters & brothers-in-law, Joan & Bernard Pickerell, Tompkinsville, KY, Charlene Bean, Peggy Bush, Mary Hudson, Beverly & Randel Gregory all of Red Boiling Springs, brothers & sisters-in-law, Kenneth & Lucille Bush, Nashville, Bobby & Agnes Bush, Red Boiling Springs, sisters-in-law, Wilmadean Bush, Mexico, MO, Marie Bush, Livingston, brother-in-law, Ray Bilbrey, Red Boiling Springs and several nieces & nephews.
