Macon County Veterinary Hospital held an open house on Saturday, Oct. 5 as a meet and greet for current owner Dr. Gregory Miller and to welcome Dr. Haley Dingfelder to the community.
Dr. Gregory A. Miller, D.V.M. purchased the business from Dr. Lori Murray in August 2011. Dr. Miller graduated Ross University in 2005 and currently lives in Lafayette with his wife Nicole and his 5-month-old daughter Danielle Lynn.
Dr. Dingfelder is originally from Florida. She moved to Missouri in 1990 with her family and raised South Devon Cattle and Quarter Horses. Haley completed her undergrad studies in Dension University in OH, graduate school in OK State and Veterinary School at Oklahoma State in May 2011. She moved to Lafayette in August with her boyfriend Sean Newell.
“I have really enjoyed coming to Lafayett; the community has been really welcoming,” said Dingfelder. “I welcome seeing any animals. I have seen anything from birds, ducks, evaluated a snake and even treated an iguana for a mouth infection.”
