Brown joins Palace staff
Rebecca Tandy, Executive Director of The Palace Care and Rehab is pleased to welcome Megan A. Brown to the facility located in Red Boiling Springs. Brown is the newest member of the rehabilitation team and will be providing Speech-Language Therapy to patients who are in need of her services.
“We were so excited to have Megan join us, “ said Benita Hudson who is the rehab program director. “Megan brings with her the motivation and qualifications that will help her bring her patients to their highest potential. We are already seeing the tremendous progress that her patients are achieving.”
Brown is a 2006 graduate of Monroe County High School and graduated with her M.S. in Communication Disorders from Western Kentucky. Her clinicals were at Tompkinsville Elementary School, Suzanne Vitale Clinical Education Complex, First Steps, and NHC. “ I have always had a passion for helping others as well as a desire to work in the medical field. For me, speech-language pathology was the perfect combination of the two.”
Brown is the daughter of Mary Helen Bartley of Tompkinsville, KY. She and husband Elliott reside in Red Boiling Springs with their son, Layton. In addition to her family time she enjoys crafting, farming, baking and reading.
“We hope visitors will stop by to meet Megan, “ said Knight. “It is always good to know about the services that are available in a community. Getting to know the professionals who provide these vital services is important in making future healthcare decisions.
