Two were sent to the hospital Saturday when a truck ran off the road and knocked a mobile home off of its cinder blocks and four feet away from its original resting place.

The 1976 Chevy pickup truck, driven by 35-year-old Harold Wayne York, was headed west on King Hill Road when the accident occurred. The vehicle overcorrected after rounding a sharp curve, then ran off of the left side of the road just after the intersection of King Hill and Long Hungry Creek Road. It plowed over a live telephone wire and knocked the mobile home four foot away from its cinder blocks.

There was a juvenile passenger in the vehicle at the of the crash. Both he and York were transported to Macon County General Hospital by Macon County EMS for treatment.
