At last week’s Rotary Club meeting, President Pete Williston presented rotarians Nora Ellis and Chip Turner with commemorative coins in appreciation for their efforts in the pancake breakfast, and club publicity, respectively. He also presented Ricky and Beverly Shoulders (MCHS golf coach) with a check for $3200 from the proceeds of this year’s Rotary Golf Tournament. Outgoing club President Williston also welcomed incoming President Amy Phelps, who presented Williston with a plaque honoring his exemplary service to the club in the last year. The speaker for the meeting was Michelle McRae, Lead Certification Counselor with Hope Family Health Clinic, who espoused the myriad of programs and benefits that Hope provides to the health care industry in Macon and surrounding counties.
