The Macon County Public Library System is pleased to announce that the NHECM Wildlife will be preforming for the Macon County Public Library System, Thursday, June 26th. “Animal Appetites” is this Science themed food chain program that features some of NHECM’s most popular wildlife exhibits. This program focuses on avian, reptile and mammal predator and prey live wildlife exhibits and discusses how these amazing creatures have special traits and adaptations to hunt (or avoid being hunted) as well as their important role in our ecosystem.

“Animal Appetites” is presented by Bob Tarter, Wildlife Biologist and Owner of NHECM. Apart from being a lifelong nature enthusiast, Bob has a degree of Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences from the University of Illinois, and spent time working as a wildlife researcher and biologist before creating NHECM in 2005 to help educate audiences of all ages about the natural world.

NHECM partners regularly with conservation organizations, and State and Federal parks to provide a “learning experience of a lifetime”.

Shows will start at 4:30 pm at the Red Boiling Springs Branch Library, located on 335 East Main Street in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee and again at 6:00 pm at the Macon County Public Library located on 311 Church Street in Lafayette, Tennessee. All shows are free.
