On May 3rd, 2014, the Lafayette Cub Scout Pack 402 went on a pack bowling trip to Gallatin Bowling Alley. Upon arriving, the boys learned the history behind bowling, learned the rules, and learned how to put their information into the computer. They each bowled, and many learned what a foul is from experience.

They demonstrated appropriate ways to handle the ball and how to pick the correct ball size for their hands. They also demonstrated different throwing techniques along with great sportsmanship. They encouraged each other and cheered one another one to do your best. They kept up with their own score and learned how to score a game. At the end, they were each given a score sheet of how they did. Only three scouts participated in the event, but each earned their bowling belt loop and pin for doing so.

Also on May 3rd, the Lafayette Cub Scout Pack 402 did a clothing drive service project. All the clothes they collected, along with other various items, were donated to our local Macon Helps agency in order to better serve the community.
