LAFAYETTE, TN, April 21 – The Macon County Chapter of Right to Life hosted its annual Oratory Contest featuring four area high school speakers on Monday evening, April 21 at the Macon County Welcome Center. First place went to Adabella Nunez of Red Boiling Springs with her speech “One Choice. One Decision. One Life.” Second and third places went to Sydney Beaver and Ezra Pinzur respectively.


Ada received $100.00 for first place and qualified to participate in the Tennessee State Right to Life Oratory Contest in Nashville on May 3, 2014. The winner of the state contest will qualify for National Right to Life Oratory Contest to be held at the Right to Life Convention in Louisville, KY. Sydney received $75.00 for second place and Ezra $50.00 for third. Receiving Honorable Mention was the fourth speaker Meghan Whisenhunt.
