The Red Boiling Springs Lions Club held its regular pancake breakfast this past Saturday, April 5, at the Armour’s Hotel in RBS. This regular fundraiser is held by the Lions Club so that they may serve the community. Funds raised during the breakfast will be helping the Lions Club to fund a $500.00 scholarship to a graduating RBS senior, as well as, funding the 2014 Educator/Support Staff of the Year Award.


Some events that the Lions Club has planned for the future is their annual Duck Days on August 30. The Club is looking for vendors (booths are free of charge), donations, and volunteers. They are also looking for local artists and musicians to perform at the Duck Days. If you are interested in joining the RBS Lions Club you may attend a meeting. The Club meets the 1st Tuesday of each month 5:30pm at The Armour Hotel B & B, 321 E. Main St, RBS, TN 37150. The meetings are causal and open to everyone in the community.
