At last week’s Rotary Club meeting, City of Lafayette mayor Richard Driver went over the proposed development of Winding Stairs Park. The park would encompass 31 acres, and would have amenities to entice tourists and locals alike.


The Rotary club is a service organization devoted to various projects supporting the community-at-large, including Makin’ Macon Fit, the Macon County 3rd Graders Dictionary Initiative, Boy Scouts, the Macon County High School Interact Club and the Junior High Interact Club, as well as scholarships.
