The Macon County Election Commission met on Thursday, July 10, to inspect the voting booths and to prepare for the fast-approaching opening of the polls.


The Macon County State Primary and County General Election will be held August 7, 2014. On Election Day, polls will open at 9:00 am and close at 7:00 pm.


July 18 through August 2 is early voting. Hours are 8:00-4:30, M-F, and 8-noon on Saturday. Early voting will only be available at the Election Office: 111 East Locust St. Lafayette, TN.
