Aurelio Garcia sentenced to 125 years for child rape

Aurelio Garcia Sanchez, a Red Boiling Springs man who was convicted of five counts of child rape in June of this year, was sentenced in a hearing on Friday, October 11. He was sentenced to 125 years in prison- 25 years for each count.
Sanchez was convicted for incidents that occurred in 2011, when the child victim first made them known to a third party. The investigation was conducted by Red Boiling Springs Police Chief Terry Tuck, Macon Detective Bill Cothron, and Pete Richie out of Sumner County. Sanchez confessed to molestation at that time, and was arrested on August 23, 2011.
His jury trial was conducted in June, 2013, and he was convicted of five counts of child rape. Sanchez’s sentence will be served in full, with no chance of parole.
