Two more new teachers have been added to the fold at Red Boiling Springs School.
My name is Katie Copass; I am the daughter of Jesse Yokley (Akersville) and Sherry Cothron Yokley (Lafayette). I grew up in the community of Akersville, KY and attended Allen County Schools. After graduating from Allen County, I attended Western Kentucky University. I graduated from Western in May of 2012 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. After graduation I worked as a substitute in the Allen County School district.
I am teaching fifth grade, Science and Social Studies at Red Boiling Springs Elementary. I have already had the privilege of meeting the fantastic students I will be working with during the 2013-2014 school year. I am very excited about working with the students, faculty and the parents at Red Boiling Springs. I have many family and friends that are part of the Macon County staff and I am very excited about being a part of that staff. Although I attended school in Kentucky I have had lots of experience with the Macon County School system, from my sister as a teacher at the Jr. High and from the attendance of my nieces and newphews.
My name is Chris Dziekiewicz. I live in Lafayette with my wife Kristi and our three children Christopher, Jenna, and Cole. After many years in business for myself, I returned to school for elementary education. I graduated from Tennessee Technological University. I am currently teaching 6th grade science and social studies at RBS Jr. High. I am looking forward to a great school year.
