Macon County High School will be having a plant sale at the MCHS Greenhouse. Students have been growing and nurturing these plants for months.
There are a variety of different types of vegetables such as; tomatoes, peppers, squash, cucumbers. There are also Charleston Gray Watermelon, and Heart of Gold Cantaloupe. Bedding plants include: begonias, hypoetes, marigolds, geraniums, impatiens, coleus, double petunias, dianthus and more. Hanging baskets: wave petunias, sweet potato vines, wandering jew, lots of mixes, Bostons Ferns, and Kimberly Queen Ferns.
Grand Opening is Friday, April 18th until sold out. Hours will be Mon-Fri 8AM to 3:30PM, and Saturdays 8AM to 12PM. Prices are: Annual Flowers and Vegetables; flats are $10, 3 packs $1. Ferns; Boston $15, Kimberly $10 and hanging baskets $10-15. Four inch pots; individuals $2, tray $20 and 6” pots $3.
