The Tennessee Health Care Association (THCA) has named Linda Austin, owner/administrator of Knollwood Manor in Lafayette, president of its Board of Directors for 2016-17. Austin leads the other board members in directing the organization as it works to enhance the ability of its members to provide essential long-term care services for the elderly and disabled through education, advocacy and leadership.
“We have a strong leadership foundation in place, and each of our board members has deep professional backgrounds and a passionate commitment to long-term care,” said THCA Executive Director Jesse Samples. “They bring insightful perspectives to our association, and we certainly appreciate their service.”
Austin lives in Lafayette and has four children and nine grandchildren. She has been a member of THCA for over 20 years.
