The two teams played a very tight first half. The biggest lead in the first half was seven points, The Tigers came back from behind to tie the game at 27-27 heading into halftime.
In the second half, the Tigers fell short to Goodpasture's offense.
The Goodpasture Cougars won by a final score of 61-34.
Macon County is now 0-3 for the season and will travel next to Sycamore on Sept. 17th.
