Sarah McCoin Hudson, age 85, of the Willette Community in Macon County, TN passed away Wednesday evening, August 18, 2010 at the Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville, TN. Funeral Services for Sarah McCoin Hudson were conducted Saturday afternoon, August 21, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. from the Anderson & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Jimmy Cook officiating. Interment followed in the Macon County Memorial Gardens. Dennis Kirby, Gary Wiggins, Hugh Clark, Tony Russell, David Jennings, Todd Meadows and Wendell Meadows served as pallbearers.

Sarah was born Tuesday, November 11, 1924 in Monroe County, Kentucky, one of three siblings born to the late Sam “Herbert” and Vada Mae Capshaw McCoin. She was married to James Oliver Hudson, who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, George and Gray McCoin. Sarah was the former owner and operator of Willette Grocery for many years, factory worker and a member of the Willette Church of Christ.

Survivors include: daughter & son-in-law, Nancy & Jimmy Bean, Lebanon, TN, son, Garry Hudson, Willette Community, granddaughters, Crystal Bean, Cookeville, Melanie Bean (David) Jennings, Lebanon, Kayla Bean, Atlanta, GA, niece, Pam (Eddie) McKiddy of Arkansas.
