Charlie Ray Browning, age 76, of Taurus Farm Rd, Lafayette, TN passed away Monday afternoon, August 16, 2010 at the Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville, KY. Funeral Services for Charlie Ray Browning were conducted Thursday morning, August 19, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. from the Anderson & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Kirk Dodson officiating. Interment followed in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery. His nephews served as pallbearers.

Charlie was born Sunday, October 8, 1933 in Clay County, TN, one of 18 siblings of the late Pleas and Sena Ann Smith Browning. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Steven Ray Browning, sisters, Edna Taylor, Colleen Hertel, Joyce Long, Annie, Linda and Brenda Browning, and brothers, Glumas, Walas, Douglas, Donald and Danny Browning. He was a retired Mill Wright for the American Can Company in Indianapolis, IN with 28 years of service and a member of the Milestown Church of Christ.
