Loretta East, 39, of Scottsville, KY died at 4:45 p.m. Thursday, August 12, 2010 at the Hospice Center in Bowling Green. The Anderson, IN native was a homemaker. She was a daughter of Junior East and Mary East, who survive.

She is survived by her lifelong companion: Allen Shockley, Scottsville, KY; her mother: Mary East, Marion, IN; her father: Junior East, VanBuren, IN; paternal grandmother: Mildred East, Anderson, IN; 1 sister: Barbara Kinard and husband Ed, Lafayette, TN; 2 nephews: David Kelly, Greenbrier, TN and Joshua Kelly, Lafayette, TN; several uncles, aunts and cousins.

Funeral services for Loretta East were held at 2 p.m. Sunday August 15, 2010 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Elvis Farley officiating and burial in Holland Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12 noon Saturday at Goad Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.
