Chris was born on February 9, 1957 in Allen County, Kentucky to the late Edwin Stanley and Frances Napier Heath. Besides his parents; a granddaughter, McKynzie Ashworth, also preceded him in death.
Chris grew up in the Mt. Union Community of Allen County, Kentucky on a farm where he learned a lot of lessons as a boy. He graduated from Allen County High School in 1975. As a young man, Chris was married and had a son, Caleb. He took a lot of pride in raising his son and step-daughters. Chris went to work at Carter Automotive in Lafayette as a young man before accepting a position with American Greetings in 1980, where he worked for 25 years. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time and sitting around the camp fire at Long C Trails, but most important to him was spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He was saved at a gospel singing as a young man, and he later joined Enon Missionary Baptist Church where he remained a member.
He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.
Chris is survived by; son, Caleb Heath, step-daughters, Erin Ashworth and Amber Emberton all of Lafayette, TN, brother, Scottie (Mary) Heath of the Mt. Union Community in Allen County, KY, niece, Abby (Danny) Thorn of Georgetown, KY, nephew, William (Tedra) Heath of Columbia, Maryland, grandchildren, Payton Harrison, Dillon Emberton, and Aiden Ashworth all of Lafayette, TN.
