The Macon County Times is pleased to announce the hire of Bryan Sircy.

Bryan will be serving as an advertising sales representative, focusing on print and digital products for the Macon County Times.

We're delighted to have Bryan as a part of our team, Publisher Clay Morgan said. He's got a perfect background for the Times and I think he and Hope Green are going to make an incredible team.

Bryan was born and raised in Macon County and spent much of his life working on a family horse and cattle farm here.

There, he independently managed a herd of 25 cattle and tracked expenses from the birth of the calf to market.

He is a graduate of Western Kentucky University with a degree in agriculture and a minor in business administration and sales. His sales experience includes an internship with CPC Commodities in Fountain Run, KY.

Morgan said the new sales rep was hired to accommodate the growth of the paper.

“We've been adding new products and expanding our digital presence,” Morgan said. “We have grown beyond the capability of one sales representative to handle the workload.”

Bryan can be reached by calling 666-2440 or via e-mail at bsircy@heartlandpublications.com.
