Todd Doss accomplished Thursday, Aug. 5, what no other candidate in the County General Election was able to do.

He beat an incumbent.

In a two-way race for County Commission District 5, Doss beat sitting commissioner Billy West by 18 votes.

Doss received 120 votes while West got 102.

West was the only incumbent at the county level not to be reelected.
