WESTMORELAND -- The Red Boiling Springs High volleyball squad dropped a pair of contests at Westmoreland last Thursday evening.

The Lady Bulldogs suffered a 25-21, 25-19, 26-24 match to the host squad.

RBS senior Allison Deckard and sophomore Jasmine Pruitte provided seven kills each, and junior Harlee Birdwell produced four kills and had three blocks that also resulted in points.

Lady Bulldog junior Emma Rainey served up a team-best three aces.

RBS junior setter Haley Davis had 14 assists.

Then, the Lady Bulldogs suffered a 25-16, 25-8, 25-18 loss to Allen County-Scottsville (Ky.).

Deckard had six more kills and three aces in that match.

Davis, Pruitte and senior Chloe Kramer all had two aces, and Davis had 10 assists and four digs.

Sophomore teammate Liliana Hipolito also had three kills in the match.

RBS fell to 1-5 overall and to 1-4 in District 7-A play.
