A pair of Red Boiling Springs men were arrested on Sunday at the Shell gas station in Lafayette.

Brandon David Bolton, 35, and Forest Gregory White, 28, face multiple charges following the incident.

According to the arrest report, Lafayette Police Department Sgt. Matthew Looper responded to a call at the Shell due to individuals attempting to pass counterfeit money.

When Looper arrived, Bolton was leaving the store in a minivan.

Looper stopped the minivan and found Bolton to be in possession of two grams of methamphetamine and less than a half of an ounce of marijuana.

After being given consent, Loooper searched the van and found two counterfeit $100 bills.

White was also at the store attempting to pass the same type of $100 bill.

After being taken into Macon County Jail, it was discovered that White had a bag of Marijuana in his shoe.

He was charged with criminal simulation and introducing drugs into a county institution.

White's bond was set at $6,200, and his court date is slated for Oct. 17.

Once he was booked into the jail, more Marijuana was found on Bolton.

Bolton was charged with possession of a schedule II methamphetamine, simple possession, criminal simulation and introducing drugs into a county institution.

Bolton's bond was set at $21,200, and his court date is also slated for Oct. 17.
